However, seeing the opulence and grandeour of the show, I could not refuse the offer when it came my way. I am excited, as I have never played a grey shaded character earlier. Qutub, the role I played in Razia Sultan was the complete opposite of Kaikeyi.”

If it's about playing a vamp, Sambhavna Seth's portrayal of Shah Turkan in & TV's Razia Sultan is about to create history, quite literally. She is gearing up for the role of a ferocious and manipulative mistress in a show that is about to give a new meaning to the word magnum opus. With her image that's miles away from being a babe in the woods, the role seems to fit Sambhavna Seth like a hand in glove. Razia Sultan is an untold story of the first woman ruler of India that will highlight the contemporary outlook that prevailed way back in the 13th century.
Produced by Swastik Productions, Razia Sultan has spared no expense on creating the grand sets by Omung Kumar - that are as lavish as can be. Not just the sets but the content and characterization are just as rich. The show is slated to air in the first quarter of this year on the new Hindi Entertainment Channel - &TV from the ZEE Group.
