Bigg Boss Telugu 5, Day 14, September 19, highlights: Uma Devi getting evicted and other important events at a glance
In the latest episode of Bigg Boss Telugu 5, housemates divided into two groups, assembled in the garden area and participated in a dance contest. Host Nagarjuna rated their performances. While the contestants gave their best, the Girls' Team was declared the winner by Nagarjuna.
Popular song 'Kajal Chelliva' was played in the house and Kajal was the first contestant to be saved in the episode
Kajal reminded Nagarjuna that it was Ravi's birthday and requested for ****on biryani. Nagarjuna sanctioned mutton for them but added that Kajal must cook it
The contestants then had to stick the devil shaped sticker on the forehead of the contestant whom they think is the devil for them in the house. Siri was the devil for many contestants. Kajal and Vishwa had an argument and Shanmukh initially had the sticker for himself. Shailaja Priya was saved next.
While Nataraj and Uma headed to the garden. After some suspense, Nataraj was declared safe while Uma got eliminated. Nataraj burst into tears while most of the contestants consoled her. Priyanka Singh has bid an emotional adieu to Uma.
In her post eviction interaction with the housemates, Uma shared her feedback and suggestions with all the contestants. The Karthika Deepam actress revealed that a few contestants insulted Lobo in the house. She asked Lobo to prove himself and encouraged him to perform better.
She asked Siri and Shanmukh to play their respective games keeping their friendship aside and without influencing each other.
Uma told Lahari that she is weak in tasks and asked to improve on it. She then opined that Shailaja Priya is playing safe.
Uma then told Anee that the latter is hot-headed and easily provocable. She asked Anee to play her game instead of getting carried away with emotional attachments.
Towards the end of the episode, Ravi got a birthday surprise from Bigg Boss. He got emotional as Kajal read out his heartwarming note from wife Nitya.
Priyanka Singh and Uma Devi engage in an ugly spat; the former asks the senior actress to 'shut up' -
While nominating the best and worst performers of the first week giving
their reasons, Priyanka Singh named Uma Devi as the worst performer
asking her to not to be adamant, rude and down look upon others. While
Uma posed a serious objection to this, it sparked a verbal spat between
the two. While Uma tells Priyanka not to drag upbringing into the
argument, she refuses to change for anyone. The fight gets uglier when
Priyanka asks Uma to 'shut up'. Priyanka quickly apologises to Uma for
the same and the housemates had to intervene and help them cool down.
Priyanka also emotionally revealed how she had to take up her family
responsibilities quite early and missed her brothers and laughter so
much in life. She named Lobo as the best performer. Priyanka is the
first trans woman contestant of the season and it is shown that she is
having a liking for Maanas and Sreerama Chandra. While Maanas said he
respects Priyanka and her feelings, he felt Ravi is overplaying this
point. Meanwhile, Lobo was named as the best performer, Jaswanth aka
Jessie was named as the worst performer by a majority of housemates.
Jessie was sent to jail while the rest of the housemates tried to cheer
him up.

She made her best vamp and partially nude scenes with actor Bandla Ganesh in the film Sorry Aunty which was released in 2003.
