seen in the upcoming television ‘Shreyosi’, based on Subodh Sarkar’s
story. Arkoja will play the titular role in the upcoming television
serial.

The actress will be seen in the upcoming television ‘Shreyosi’, based on Subodh Sarkar’s story. Arkoja became a household name playing the female lead in ‘Ogo
Nirupoma’, which starred actor Gourab Roy Chowdhury opposite her as the
male lead. The storyline reminded the audience of the hit Hindi soap
opera ‘Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin’, inspired by Colombian drama ‘Yo soy
Betty, la fea’. Arkoja’s natural acting skill and her crackling
chemistry with Gourab managed to win the viewers’ hearts.
- After
‘Ogo Nirupoma’ concluded its journey on television, Arkoja got busy
with her modelling assignments and other projects. Later, she was seen
playing completely different characters in two popular TV shows.
- Arkoja
bagged a prominent role in Soumitrisha Kundoo and Adrit Roy starrer
television drama ‘Mithai’. She is playing a cop in the show. Police
officer Basundhara Basu aka Dhara, works in ACP Rudra’s (played by Fahim
Mirza) team. According to the story, Dhara is honest, determined, and
responsible. Rudra and Dhara’s chemistry also worked in favour of the
show and Arkoja was praised by the audience for her performance. Later,
she was seen playing Anushka’s character in Adrija Addy Roy and Abhishek
Veer Sharma starrer ‘Mou Er Bari’. Her part in the show was brief.
